Description

New England lighthouse photography featuring the Whaleback Light with buck full moon in southern Maine near the New Hampshire border. This historic New England lighthouse is located near Portsmouth, NH and is also known as Whaleback Light or Whaleback Ledge Lighthouse. A rising full moon always attracts a lot of nature lovers and photographers alike and there was no difference last night. Originally, I was inspired by the tall and old lighthouse structure out in the ocean that tells the story of bracing Mother Nature for a century and more. After setting up tripod and camera I patiently waited for the moonrise and when it finally arrived I photographed away to ensure I captured my vision of this unforgettable natural phenomenal.
